Have you ever wanted something in that stained glass style, yet the item(s) you wanted was way out of your price range? Well, now you can get that same look without the price!
Here at K 'n L Gifts, we do glass painting, using Gallery Glass products made by Plaid Enterprises.
Here is a general price list by size:

  • 4" x 6"        $ 9.50 - $11.00

The stained glass piece you pick would be firmly glued into a frame using an epoxy to provide strength and stability. Price range depends on the complexity of the pattern that you choose. The colors used in the piece is dependant on nature, the customer and somewhat on the designer of the piece. The products we make are NOT made to be outside, so please do not hang outdoors unless you bring them in immediately before weather.

Styles include floral, animals, mystical-mythical, Oriental, nautical, Armed Services, and classical styles like Victorian and Art Deco. We can also do ribbon awareness in your choice of color(s) to show support for a survivor or research program. Please specify the type of cancer or disease.

The ribbon colors and meanings in this file are also used in the Polymer Clay Ribbon Awareness pins available from K 'n L Gifts. Please feel free to use this chart for both the pins and the glass painting.

These two photos of ones that Lynn did as gifts for some friends are just a sample of what glass painting looks like. These patterns were free, courtesy of Chantal's Stained Glass @ Please visit her site and check her out, she has wonderful pictures and patterns there to look at!

These next two glass paintings are ones with patterns courtesy of Spectrum Glass,

This one is of a brook trout, I used turquoise and white paints swirled together to get the color for the back. The instructions called for 3 different shades of iridescent clear but I just used an "etching" paint to give it that opaque clear look. All in all, it didn't turn out bad.
The Indian Paint horse below is my favorite. I used different shades of tans and ambers mixed with gold sparkle and white. The gold sparkle doesn't really show well in this photo, but it adds a nice touch to the finished piece.
